ABOUT JOE

Joe Horton is a Virginia novelist, land development professional, ultrarunner, outdoorsman, and steward of a working farm in Virginia's Piedmont. His fiction is shaped by mountains, communities, and history of Appalachia, along with a lifelong fascination with land, legacy, endurance, and the lengths people will go to protect what matters. His debut novel, Coal Creek, is currently undergoing final editiorial review.
